Gorebridge & District Community Council will maintain the Gorebridge Garden of Remembrance within the grounds of the Beacon, next to the war memorial. Last year this was necessary due to restrictions, but this year we think it would be nice just to carry on the tradition. This will be a striking tribute to the brave men and women, from all conflicts, who sacrificed everything for us.
Members of the community are able to provide a donation towards a 7-inch Remembrance Cross, optionally adding their own personal message, to provide their own memorial to the garden. Our crosses have been purchased direct from Lady Haig's Poppy Factory and all donations from these crosses will go back to them to support their vital work.

- You can collect your cross and personalise yourself at one of our pop-up stalls at the Beacon, and then place it in the garden yourself.
- We will personalise and place your cross in the garden for you: simply indicate the text you would like written on the cross during your order.
